4. Purchases, Payments, and Refunds

All purchases made through the Site are subject to these Terms. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the full amount of the transaction. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.

4.2 Refund Policy

Due to the digital and immediate-access nature of our educational products and content, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated at the time of purchase. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the transaction at contact@lydiatroop.com.

4.3 Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any purchased content or community membership during a pending dispute.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, course materials, videos, audio, documents, and software, is the exclusive property of Lydia Troop or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

6. Community Standards and Prohibited Conduct

Lydia Troop is a faith-based community built on respect, empowerment, and integrity. As a condition of access, you agree not to:

Violation of community standards may result in immediate removal from the community and termination of your account without refund.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7.2 Financial Risk

TRADING AND INVESTING IN FINANCIAL MARKETS INVOLVES SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS. THE EDUCATIONAL CONTENT PROVIDED BY LYDIA TROOP DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR FINANCIAL OUTCOME. YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR TRADING AND INVESTMENT DECISIONS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LYDIA TROOP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM TRADING OR INVESTMENT DECISIONS.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR SERVICES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lydia Troop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site or Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Site.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall take place in Jacksonville, Florida. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

The Site may reference or link to third-party platforms, tools, brokers, or services for educational context only. Lydia Troop does not endorse, recommend, or have any affiliation with any third-party platform unless expressly stated.
